A Welcome Wander through Wonderland
awaits you, my hapless traveling companion. Perhaps you have come to the end of your journey, and seek to read my blog (although I would not care to wonder why, you're likely too weird to be saved.) It contains housekeeping notes from a mad scientist, maudlin recollections of fond babyhoods, and the occasional questionable use for dragon's entrails.
No? You must continue to find what you seek? Then have you come seeking the solace of companionship, a fireside by which to rest weary legs as you speak to those who would understand you? There's a chat, populated by characters most colorful. (I call them my beloved friends. You watch what you call them.)
Still undecided? My friend, the rain has begun. Take your refuge within the halls of the Renegade Tower, or let your fancy fly more freely at Unlimited Vision.
About the Webmistress
I know why I'm here...
Once upon a time, a very long time ago, there was a younger woman who thought that she'd like to connect to friends who enjoyed the same things as she. She got her ankle wedged between one of those yellow curb bumpers and the curb outside of a convenience store while she was learning to Rollerblade, and spent a happy summer lightly pursuing a hobby that would become a passion that might someday become a vocation. I mean writing, and writing is what I mean: I may be a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, but what I made myself (other than a mother, yeah, I know) is an author.
This is not pride: I never said I was good. Hell, I never said I was published. So far, to my credit, I have years of fanfiction, two NaNoWriMo winners (2009 and 2010) and several ongoing personal blogs. Yet, I am proud to write "author" on the slot beside "profession" on my income taxes (I used to write Jedi Knight on it.) Writing is my delight and my pleasure, and this site helps me index my personal projects (and one belonging to someone else, but I do write there.) That warning given:
I am a mother of three living daughters and one stillborn one, married, sometimes happily, to a pretty decent guy. I have bipolar disorder and anxiety disorder, as well as other troubles, and I rear an autistic daughter, as well as identical twins. If that didn't round up the family zoo, there's a cat and a pleco here. My other passions involve crafting (knit and crochet) cooking (freezer, OAMC, Italian, vegetarian, kid-friendly) reading, and music.
Since you're here, you might as well introduce yourself: you can leave a comment in my blog should you feel a burning need to do so. Akismet will make sure you don't sell anyone Viagra.
